Bogus Amount Due letter from Disney Movie Club

We received a letter titled Important Notice re: Your Credit Card. The Disney Movie Club asks us, in this letter, to send a check in for $5.97 for Frozen, Tangled, and The Princess & The Frog. We don't belong to this *club*; we didn't order these DVDs; and they attempt to extort 5.97 from people by saying "We are unable to process the credit card you provided (xxxx etc.) (The bogus order date happens to correspond with my husband's birthday.) I called the 1-88*-257-**** to inform them they were attempting to extort money illegally. The telemarketer on the other end was from Pakistan or India. DISNEY MOVIE CLUB IS A FRAUDULENT INTERNET SCAM.

I cancelled my membership a few days ago and they still charged me $44. I'm so upset because this club is such a fraud. They don't have an actual person to contact and I want a refund now. I'm no longer in business with you guys and this is practically stealing money from me. I never gave permission for you guys to charge me because I never bought anything else!

Someone signed me up for this club. I am getting movies that I don't want and now they want me to send them back. They don't have a credit card, they are just billing me. Very expensive!! I called customer service to complain and they didn't care I did not sign up. In fact the account is in my daughters name. My daughter is a teenager she wouldn't sign up for children's movies. They said that my membership will be cancelled. But I might be getting move movies and just to send them back. They should of let me keep the movies, that I didn't sign up for!!!!

I understand this is a website for mad customers but in all honesty it isnt that bad. I first signed up about 1year and 4months ago. since then i can say i have bought about 30 movies from them. I actually have two accounts, mine and my boyfriends. Theyre not so horrible there are a few things wrong though. Today for example. My boyfriend owes a 33.90 fee for a movie my ex never paid for. the number is now at 39.90 because of late fees but granted we have been putting it off. on top of the late fee my boyfriend was charged for the movie Who framed Roger Rabbit. We never ordered it and it wasnt a featured title. The movie i did order was Princess Diaries. Instead they tell me i order Roger Rabbit and they cant charge me for Princess Diaries until we pay the balance.....but that makes no sense because they charged me for the one i didnt buy. So yes its a bit tricky but overall pretty good Club to join.

I agreed to their trial for 4 or 5 movies for $1.99 ea. After I found out that they would automatically bill my card I did not like that so I returned the first order to gety refund back. I got my refumf and later I found out that they have billed me twice $25.90 and $45.96 and I have not received anything. I got so pissed I called my back to dispute the charges. Disney movie club customer service knew not to bill me and I clearly canceled my membership with them and they still bill me? Iam thinking to take this matter to a much higher debate. If I don't get my refund I will sue this *** company for theft of my money! They had no right to charge my card that is stealing!!!!!

I looked the deal get so many movies for 1.99 then when I seen the final cost of 40.00. I tried to cancel automatically but they still took the money off my card. They need to put that money back on my card immediately

I was told if I buy 5 movies for $5 I would just need to buy 2 movies at regular prince within the next 2 years then I could cancel my account. Well I've bought the movies and they still say I need to buy more each time they charge for movies I didn't order even overdraft my bank account and when I called they just said to contact my bank to try and work something out WTF!!!

If you don't have a DVD player why the *** would you buy this? Also, if you read the fine print it clearly states that they'll keep charging your card until it is paid off.

You agreed to these terms. Do you complain to your phone company because they keep charging you because you have a CONTRACT?
